Dear Dmitry, I am American who relocated to Moscow 1 year ago. I'm enjoying your posts and will read them all. There are so many misconceptions about Russia/Russians which I try to explain to
my friends/family in the West. The most surprising for me was the compassion, kindness, generosity and humanity of the people. I needed help for everything, and someone was always there to help me. I've never before met a people like this before. I'm thinking of doing a substack on my experiences here, but the technology is a bit overwhelming. Thank you for the insights. Francesca
Welcome to "Russia Simplified!" I appreciate your comment and your feedback about my writing. At the moment my blog is in a “hibernation,” mode, but that’s not permanent. I will resume posting new material as soon as the circumstances allow.
That said, I am always looking for interesting topics about Russia and Russian culture. Do you have any specific areas of interest you’d like to read about in the future posts? I can not guarantee accommodating every request, but will be happy to consider all ideas.
Keep in mind that I provide free one-hour training sessions for individuals moved or planning to move to Russia. To book a session (and for the latest updates), get in touch with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/dmitrymolchan/
